Frequently asked questions
How do I register for a tournament?
Registration is handled by each organizer. Open the event page and use its Register link. Events without a link yet show “Registration details to come”. Events run on SportsSync take APA members only; non-members can join the APA in the same payment.
What is the difference between tournament tiers?
Higher tiers award more ranking points for the same placement. The full points matrix is on the How Points Work page.
Can I see results from past tournaments?
Yes. Switch to the Completed tab. Every finished event shows final placings, ranking points and full brackets.
How do I get my tournament on this calendar?
Submit it from your APA account (sign in or create one, Google works too). Once an admin sanctions it the event appears here and your account becomes an organizer account. Verified results later count toward rankings.
